DPTO Mission Statement
The concept of a school advisory committee is based on the belief of shared leadership. The Church teaches parents are the primary educators of their children. As such, the function of a Diocesan Council of PTOs is to provide support and channel parental assistance to the school's leadership on matters concerning fostering communication regarding school fundraising, student recruitment and marketing, other development activities; legislative issues concerning parochial schools; networking parents & resources for the benefit of the schools; and other school matters as defined by the school's administration.
