The Office of Development assists parishes and the diocese in implementing programs that encourage and teach parishioners about faithful stewardship.
Specific Programs include:
The Bishop’s Lenten Appeal (BLA)
supports the annual operations of the Diocese
The Bishop’s Lenten Appeal teaches parishioners about the programs, offices and ministries of the Diocese of Arlington. These works of the diocese allow the mission of our Church to be carried out in Northern Virginia. In supporting the BLA, our parishioners provide meaningful financial support that strengthens programs and ministries.
Rooted in Faith ~ Forward in Hope Capital Campaign
The Catholic Diocese of Arlington is one of the fastest growing dioceses in the United States. This campaign was developed to meet the capital needs of the diocese and to help parishes address their local needs. Each parishioner has been invited to consider a pledge of support that will strengthen our diocese and allow our diocese and parishes to better fulfill our mission.
