All Saints, Manassas

Saint Mary, Alexandria

Corpus Christi, Falls Church

“This award recognizes the students, faculty, staff and parents who all contribute to making our schools faith-filled and academically excellent year after year. I am thrilled with their success and congratulate them on this prestigious honor,” said Sr. Bernadette McManigal, Superintendent of Schools.

The awards are given on the basis of improved student performance on standardized tests or because their test scores placed them in the top ten percent of schools in the nation or state.

Arlington Catholic Schools won four of the fifty ribbons awarded to private schools nationwide this year. In total, sixteen of the 41 Arlington diocesan schools have been named Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence.

Over 425,000 registered Catholics belong to the 68 parishes of the Arlington Diocese, which has opened six new parishes, five new schools, and established three new missions since 1999.  Further information can be found at www.arlingtondiocese.org.
