About the Respect Life OFFICE
The Respect Life office embraces the task of restoring respect for all human life from the moment of conception until natural death.
Envisioning four foundational aspects of the pro-life movement, Bishop Paul S. Loverde focuses our mission on prayer, education, action and sacrifice.
The Respect Life Office offers resources and a collection of ways to help respect life, both in prayer and in action. The following are some topics you will find addressed on the site:
- Prayer opportunities- such as the Respect Life Mass & Rosary and 40 Days for Life.
- Legislative action- such as letter writing campaigns and educational materials on candidate.,
- Educational material- to keep informed with the current issues in regards to life.
- Better alternatives to abortion- such as pregnancy assistance and spiritual adoption.
ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS
The Catholic Diocese of Arlington also provides the following programs to assist mothers in pregnancy and in cases, after abortion:
- THE GABRIEL PROJECT: helping pregnant women in need for supplies or pre-natal care.
- PROJECT RACHEL & RACHEL'S VINEYARD: healing and assistance after abortion.
