What is this day of reflection?A day of silence and reflection including Mass, Liturgy of the Hours, adoration, the rosary, worship music, and reflections on Advent by Father Pivonka. The Office of Youth Ministry would like to provide everyone that works with youth this opportunity for prayer & reflection with the hope that you focus on your ministry and your teens - we want to allow you some time to gain inspiration for your ministry during Advent! About our SpeakerFather Dave Pivonka, T.O.R., is the director of Post-novitiate Formation for the Sacred Heart Province and superior at the St. Louis Friary in Washington, D.C. He formerly served at Franciscan University of Steubenville. A popular speaker, Father Pivonka has also authored a book on teens’ experiences of the power of God and produced a CD series on understanding the culture of today’s youth. His newest book is Spiritual Freedom: God’s Life-Changing Gift. Who's InvitedThis event is ait is open to all Coordinators of Youth Ministry, their volunteers and parish priests from across the Diocese of Arlington. This is not a youth event.
