Why I am a Youth Minister
Through the grace of God, I enjoy walking with young people as they encounter Christ. I enjoy crying, laughing, hugging and celebrating achievements with them, and don’t forget about tough love as well. It’s important for them to know that they are loved for who they are and they should aim high in life. No day is ever the same and I enjoy even the tough times because I grow closer to Christ.
About Me
I was born in Guatemala and came to the US when I was about a year old. I was a Sunday benchwarmer for most of my life until I went through RCIA to receive the sacrament of Confirmation. That same year I started teaching High School religious education. I was scared of them at first but that changed. The Lord has prepared me for this service in many ways but most importantly spiritually and by putting great people in my path. I am truly blessed as a CYM at St. Anthony of Padua Parish. We have the best Priests and Lay people ever! De Colores!! I’m a Cursillista too!
